We look forward to reading them.

I am a Newell, born and bred in Todmorden. I like to see what is happening as I left 58 years ago. I worked at Fielden Brothers for 10 years and was there at the inception of Waterside Plastics. I left when I married and subsequently emigrated to Canada. I miss the countryside.

Ive fond memories of Tod. Used to travel from Mcr to visit my bro & his wife(Pete & Janet)who lived at 54 Dineley Ave, Cross Lees bus took me up from the market. I remember a Smith family on same row and over the street the Kew or Keogh family. This was early-mid 1970s.

Greg ,

Had a lovely visit to Todmorden in June a trip down memory lane for me. My mother is a Feilden ..It was great to see and learn about my great Ancestory. To see my GGG grandfather statue in the Park.Amazing.. My Grandfather Greenwood was the Major of Tod in 68/69 ..Unfortunatley the town hall was closed. Next time I visit hopefully it will be open. I was there for the Tod Show..Shame about the rain.ill be back to see my home town soon.

I saw Todmorden on the news today in my country Brazil and I thought "What a lovely town". It seems to be part of a fairy tale and moreover, it seems to be very well cared for the local population. On the news they talked about a project on making vegetable gardens around the town and the production is shared among the population. Congratulations! Who knows one day I`ll be able to visit Todmorden and enjoy the local attractions.
